EDGE, an award-winning interior design, cabinetry, closet and millwork firm established in 2014, has announced the appointment of Mercy Tielves as staff accountant.

Tielves will oversee various aspects of the company’s financial management, including managing payables, receivables, client billing and other related accounting duties. She holds a two-year college degree and has a track record of successful financial management within the interior design and construction industries.

“Mercy’s extensive background in accounting, particularly within the interior design and construction sectors, makes her an ideal fit for our team,” said EDGE Vice President of Operations Danielle Gunther. “We are confident that her expertise will further strengthen our financial operations and contribute to our continued success.”

Prior to joining EDGE, Tielves worked at Romanza Interior Design for 20 years, where she managed payables, receivables and assisted with monthly financial reporting. Before that, she spent 10 years at DR Horton Construction, formerly known as Continental Homes in Miami, where she served as an accounts payable specialist.
