The project, led and completed by EDGE Cabinet Designer Hailey Whewell, merges coastal inspiration with sleek touches to create a fresh, functional aesthetic befitting the residence’s location.

Previously equipped with dated features such as thermofoil white raised panel doors, solid surface countertops and cabinetry that fell short of the ceiling, the kitchen underwent a full makeover. The remodel reflects the clients’ desire for a functional, sophisticated and visually striking kitchen with updated appliances, metal accents and a distinctive pop of color.

The new design exemplifies a coastal modern style, in keeping with Southwest Florida’s relaxed yet sophisticated lifestyle. At the heart of the design is EDGE’s custom cabinetry, which features high gloss painted slab doors. The base cabinetry, finished in “Kashmir Blue,” adds a coastal touch, while the wall cabinetry, in crisp “Extra White” from Sherwin Williams, furthers the kitchen’s modern appeal. Satin nickel hardware lends subtle sophistication to the space.
