EDGE has announced it has been selected to create the interior design and custom cabinetry for a luxury spec home currently under construction by Diamond Custom Homes in the Vanderbilt Beach area.

EDGE is incorporating a coastal modern design throughout the single-family residence, with emphasis on simplicity and sophisticated yet practical, inviting spaces in a neutral color palette of crisp whites, dark greys and natural tones.

“Our interior design approach for this project is to create a timeless, welcoming aesthetic,” said EDGE Interior Designer Belle Fortte. “Along with the home’s neutral tones, each of its elements— from clean lines to soft textiles and carefully chosen furnishings— will combine to allow for comfortable, cohesive movement in a harmonious atmosphere encouraging relaxation and togetherness.”

Custom cabinetry will serve as a focal point in the open floor plan design. The kitchen will feature cabinetry blending transitional and coastal styles, with minimal edge profiles and contrasting finishes. Custom iron shelving with lighted wood inlays by Palmer Industries and a built-in Wolf coffee system will add to the kitchen’s functionality and style. The butler’s pantry will have a darker, moody aesthetic with wire mesh inserts and under-cabinet lighting. The bar area will include reeded cabinetry, a free-standing stone bar top and an adjacent glass wine room with custom wine racking. The master bath will feature a large linen tower and cabinetry that combines subtle textures with reeded top panels.

“We are honored by the opportunity to contribute to this remarkable home with custom cabinetry to complement its modern design,” said EDGE Director of Cabinetry Krystal Matrishion. “Our priority is always on craftsmanship and attention to detail, helping each piece reflect the home’s aesthetic while delivering functional elegance for daily living. This project is allowing us to highlight the versatility of our custom-built cabinetry solutions in a truly exciting way.”

The home will include several unique design elements, such as a floating staircase with a metal mono stringer and white oak treads, designed by EDGE in collaboration with local fabricator Feil. High-end materials will be used throughout, including wide-plank white oak flooring, imported lighting fixtures and a see-through fireplace between the great room and club room. Sustainable materials like shell stone will be incorporated into the pool deck and entrance, supporting eco-friendly design practices. The residence will feature four bedrooms, four and one-half baths and luxury spaces including a club room, office and lounge. The design will feature 12-foot ceilings, 10-foot sliding glass doors and wire-brushed white oak flooring throughout. The outdoor living area will include a pool, spa and summer kitchen, offering ample space for entertainment and relaxation.

Slated for completion in May 2025, the residence is designed by Stofft Cooney Architects, with landscape architecture by Architectural Land Design.
